Entry: math morphology
This is an implementation showing the mathematical morphologies erosion and dilatation. Afterwards it's also possible to start a connectivity analysis. Draw on the black screen for your structure and start the process. You can make the process slower setting up the delay time appropriatley.

These techniques are used for computer vision for example: Robots that count money coins must determine how many coins are shown in a picture they get from a camera. If the coins stick too close together you can run an erosion to separate them and do a connectivity analysis right after that. Every different color would represent a different coin.
